Duties and Responsibilities

FITNESS & RECREATION

Work in a team or individual setting to provide premiere service to our membership and guests
Professionally greet members and guests and provide service for any requests regarding facility or programming information, equipment, suggestions, complaints, etc.
Perform cleaning tasks within the fitness areas, such as: cleaning machines, dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, etc.
Complete daily tasks as required
Aid with orientations for new/junior members as necessary
Help with set up, attendance, acquiring feedback and take down of fitness classes/programs
Assist other departments within the club when necessary
Create and post social media content for the Club’s social media pages
Have knowledge of Fitness, Wellness, Sports, and Recreational activities
Other duties and tasks as required

OTHER:

· Follow all health and safety protocols

· Initiates, develops, and maintains personalized working relationships with members and guests

Skills and Knowledge

· Must be reliable and punctual.

· Excellent member service, telephone etiquette, interpersonal and communication skills.

· Strong computer application skill

· Able to think creatively, improvise and be task orientated in a multi-paced environment

· Current CPR and AED Certified

· Can effectively resolve conflict with members, staff or supervisors

· Outgoing individuals that connect with a diverse demographic

· Can work with minimal to no supervision

· Having a background and/or interest in the sport, fitness, or wellness will be considered an asset.

· Can effectively communicate with membership and staff (including supervisory staff)

· Can sit, stand, reach, or lift up to 40+ kg

Must have availability for week day and evening, weekends.

EDUCATION:

Partial or Completion of University Degree or College Diploma in related field (Kinesiology, Recreation, Hospitality, etc.)

Compensation

$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
